Skein Dyeing-

When dyeing yarns, all fiber is spun into skeins. This is most popular for yarn that is being used for hand knitting. Yarn for production is usually put on cones after being spun. 3-4 loose ties are placed throughout the skein to prevent tangling. We work with a local facility that can skein yarn from cones, and back again at a variety of quantities.
