We are excited to now offer lake pigments to our community.
These lake pigments are salvaged from exhausted dye baths we use in production dye lots. Our team precipitates the remaining dye out of the dye bath (rather than sending it down the drain) to yield pigments that can be used in seemingly endless applications - create ink, watercolors, screen printing paste, candle dye, crayons and more with these reclaimed colors.
Pigments are packaged in kraft paper envelopes and can be purchased in 2 quantities - 5 g and 15 g. If purchasing 5 or more colors, use code 5BULK for a 15% discount.
Please note that all of the pigments are plant based, with the exception of cochineal, which is the remains of insects.
Please note that there may be variations from batch to batch. All pigments are ground for a medium fine texture. Pigments may need to be ground finer depending on the application you are using.
